A New Dawn – Franco Molina
International class will be added to Newcastle Red Bulls’ second row ranks for the coming season with the addition of Franco Molina.
The 28-year-old chalked up his 20th cap for Argentina last weekend, with the 6-foot-5 forward bringing an assured presence in the set-piece.

An experienced performer for Los Pumas, Molina's test career already includes victories over New Zealand, Australia, France and the British & Irish Lions.
The Córdoba-born forward combines a towering line-out presence with the nuts and bolts of scrummaging, tackling and hitting rucks.
Not only that, but he has been an attacking weapon in the loose for Western Force during the 2026 Super Rugby season, scoring four tries in 13 appearances for the Australian outfit.
Already familiar with the Gallagher PREM, Molina fatured 17 times for Exeter Chiefs during the 2024-25 season and arrives at Newcastle having played for the Barbarians against world champion, South Africa.
