The 24-year-old back-five forward has played 17 games for the club, eight of them this season, during which time he has made his first Gallagher PREM start.
Newcastle University graduate Scott made his first team debut in South Africa against the Lions two seasons ago, and the Northumbrian spoke of his delight after renewing terms with his home-town team.
He said: “I’m excited to be spending more time here at the club.
“I’m keen to keep learning from everyone involved, as well as watching the team as a whole developing under our new management.”
Sporting general manager Neil McIlroy said: “Adam continues to progress well in our environment, and it’s fantastic to see local talent flourishing.
“Bringing players through from our own region is integral to what we are trying to do here, and Adam possesses the skills and athleticism to really push on.”
