There’s a double-header of rugby at Kingston Park, too, with Newcastle Red Bulls’ Development side taking on Sale Sharks at 4.30pm before the Gallagher PREM clash at 7.45pm. One ticket gets you into both fixtures, with the East Stand opening at 4pm for supporters looking to make a full evening of it.
From fireworks and live music to interactive fan experiences and a special matchday ball delivery, there’s plenty to look forward to beyond the action on the pitch.
The teams’ run-out will get the night off to a spectacular start, with pyro and fireworks lighting up Kingston Park as the players take to the field.
Supporters can also get involved through the Bull Board, where messages can be submitted for display on the big screen. Whether it’s a message for the team or something to get the crowd going, keep an eye out for your chance to feature.
There’ll be live music on the West Stand concourse, too, with local band Tattoo Rose providing the soundtrack as fans arrive and get ready for kick-off.
Looking to add to your Newcastle Red Bulls collection? The main club shop will be open, alongside additional retail units on the South and West concourses, with plenty of opportunities to pick up the latest club gear.
We’ve also got something special planned for the matchday ball delivery. We’re keeping the details under wraps for now, but all will be revealed soon.
Derby Weekend is for everyone, whether you’re a regular at Kingston Park or joining us for the first time. If you’re coming along on your own, Solo Corner offers the chance to meet like-minded fans before kick-off. Head to the West Stand concourse, meet fellow supporters and enjoy the build-up together.
There’ll be plenty of food and drink options around the stadium, too. Arrive early, grab something to eat and soak up the pre-match atmosphere before the action gets underway.
It’s the Battle for the North. Tyneside meets Manchester. With two fixtures, a packed programme of entertainment and a big Gallagher PREM clash under the lights, Derby Weekend promises a Friday night to remember.
