As the final whistle blows supporters may notice a slight change to the usual post-match routine. The players will remain on the pitch briefly for a team huddle before heading into the changing room for their post-match debrief. But they won’t be gone for long - the squad will return to the pitch a few minutes later to spend time with fans, posing for selfies and signing autographs as part of the club’s usual fan engagement.
