Co. Durham native Oscar won the club’s Young Player of the Season award for 2025-26 thanks to his consistently powerful performances during his first full year as a professional.
Now boasting 23 first-team appearances, the 6-foot-5 forward has shone on the Gallagher PREM stage having served his rugby apprenticeship with Darlington Mowden Park and Northumbria University.
And despite still having a year left to serve on his current deal, Newcastle Red Bulls have rewarded the 22-year-old’s rapid progress by agreeing a new contract which will keep the local talent on Tyneside for another three seasons.
