TEAM NEWS: RED BULLS U23s TO HOST SALE JETS
Newcastle Red Bulls have named their side for the first act of Friday’s double header at Kingston Park, when an Under-23s side takes on their Sale Sharks counterparts.
The game is a 4.30pm kick-off ahead of the Gallagher PREM Derby Weekend clash between the two clubs at 7.45pm, with a valid first-team match ticket required to gain entry for the curtain-raiser.
Six of Newcastle’s starting XV played a part in last weekend’s EPCR Challenge Cup opener at the Scarlets, with Oli Spencer, Obi Ene (pictured), Brandon Jackson, Jake Dalziel, Samson Adejimi and Murray McCallum all featuring.
Georgia Under-20s back-rower Irakli Kolbaia starts his first game since arriving in the UK earlier this month, with the Newcastle line-up also containing a number of players from local clubs and universities.
Supporters are advised that Friday’s game is being streamed live on Youtube.
